YOURSAY ‘Why stop at ‘vices’? How about graft, stealing, rent-seeking, etc?

How do we fill vacuum in Perkasa members’ heads?

Perkasa vacuum

Perkasa: Tornadoes due to ‘dog patting’ and vices

Anonymous #40538199: In ancient China, whenever a natural disaster occurred, a good emperor would take it that the divine was not pleased with his rulings/actions.

The emperor would then fast, repent and turun padang to find out and rectify any grudges and grievances of the people. Maybe it is the withdrawal of petrol subsidy or the goods and services tax (GST), or the Anwar Ibrahim Sodomy II appeal?

Chee Hoe Siew: Let me see, the tornado seems to be happening in a Malay village which is highly religious. If we base on this information, isn’t it strange that the “punishment” is not done to the people who went on patting the dogs but to those with higher probability of following the fatwa?

Ah Hoe: It’s a weather phenomenon known as ‘Sumatras’ which occur around this time of the year – every Malaysian meteorologist and Malaysian pilot knows about it.

2Kali5: Why stop at only those named “vices”? How about corruption, stealing, rent-seeking, etc?

Anonymous #57883242: The director-general of the Malaysian Meteorological Department should be sacked with immediate effect for not understanding the science related to such incidents. Suggest his position be replaced with Ibrahim Ali as only Perkasa has the latest scientific information to explain all issues, except on issues related to the burning of the Bible, of course.

Odysseus: Since dogs have existed long before Perkasa and Isma, I would rather believe all the disasters are signs from God to these extremists to stop their nonsense or HE will unleash his power on them.

Fair&Just: Good, good, good. Now, Perkasa, go explain the earthquake in Kedah, the MAS plane disappearances, the drop in varsities’ standard, Highland Towers landslide, mutated H1N1 virus from the Middle East in Batu Pahat, we being behind (South Korea) by at least 19 years in productivity, and more from other neighbouring nations, etc, etc.

Now a tempo up, two tornadoes and soon, worse catastrophes to come. No need to argue, just wait for the next coming catastrophe and the truth will be known and revealed to all.

Armageddon: Bomoh kelapa talking. I agree with Perkasa that the calamities are due to dog-patting and the beer festival, and wish to add another major sin by Malaysians: the slow progress in all the major corruption cases that are still pending investigation.

Anonymous_1395569311: Divine intervention? It could be the other way. There was Oktoberfest and there were no tornadoes.

What caused the Indian Ocean tsunami that occurred 10 years ago? This tsunami killed more Muslims than nons! What caused MAS’ losses for so many years? Dog-patting is organised this year, lah!

Appum: This should get into the ‘Dumbest Book Of Records”. So Perkasa members, please fill up your brains with substance or else we are going to be hit with more tornadoes! And then we have to blame you! What say you, president of Perkasa?

Anonymous#007: And here is living proof that the quality of education in government-run schools in Malaysia has dropped to worrying levels.

There are a few more living examples comprising the people who made the following conclusions: airplanes fall out of the sky because the cabin crew are not appropriately dressed, worms in the head for organising pat-a-dog event, we do not recognise Israel but it is okay to do business with them, and the list goes on.

World citizen: No, the tornadoes are due to people joining IS!

Well Thats Fantastic: It couldn’t have anything at all with what the global scientific community calls ‘climate change’. You know that thing that we, the human race, have done over the past 100 years?

Malaysia, as an oil producer that has profited immensely, will be asked to help with the fallout of these terrible weather phenomena, then what profit? All oil companies should be held to account for the damages these shifted weather conditions are causing.

Kacang: To all the geologists and weather experts out there. Please quote Perkasa’s comment whenever you can’t explain any unexplained phenomena.

Papspulus: Perkasa, your rationale for the recent phenomenon is fantastic. Which pasar malam or pasar pagi university did you guys graduate from?

1960’s: Corruption in Malaysia is so massive that we need tornadoes to sweep them away. We cannot just depend on Ah Jib Gor.

Not Confused: Has anyone in Malaysia (anyone with half a brain, anyway), ever heard so much drivel emanating from idiots like those occupying cages inside Perkasa?

The story about the probe into the dog-patting event hit the BBC news yesterday and I cringed with complete embarrassment for knowing that I have friends abroad who know I am living in such a ridiculous country.

I don’t think I can stand the ridicule being heaped on Malaysia following such news emanating from the frothing mouths of supposedly intelligent Malaysians!

Malaytoo: What did they pat in Pendang that brought the tornado?

LeftHandSide: If you react to madness, you become part of the madness. If you react to stupidity, you are being stupid as well.

Vijay47: People, people, please stop believing in superstition and similar urban legends. There is a scientific cause for tornadoes and it is founded on the basic precept that nature abhors a vacuum.

Thus, where there is a vacuum, air from pressure areas will rush in. Tornadoes can be expected to be a common phenomena. But there is hope, we just need to remove vacuums. The problem is, how do we fill the vacuum in Perkasa members’ heads?
