YOURSAY | ‘What does he know about submarines to justify the hefty ‘consultancy fee’?’

Did Razak Baginda declare RM137m income to IRB?

Rick Teo: It is a fact that Abdul Razak Baginda was an aide and close confidante to then DPM and Defence Minister Najib Razak.

So who in the world can believe that anybody could be so generous to see Razak Baginda be paid RM137 million?

Would Najib be so generous to see his aide earned RM137 million for doing a bit of PR work? And precisely what was Razak Baginda’s work to earn such a hefty commission?

Negarawan: “It was a legitimate agreement. I did my job and I got paid for it,” said Razak Baginda.

What credentials and experience do you have to qualify as a consultant for the Scorpene submarines? Why was there a need for a “consultant” in the first place?

You can answer directly to the court, not to the media. You may have total immunity in Malaysia due to your links to Najib, but not outside of Malaysia.

May justice be served on you and all the perpetrators behind the murder of your ex-lover Altantuya Shaariibuu.

Speechless: My questions to Razak Baginda: Why didn’t the Malaysian government deal direct instead of using a middleman?

What does he know about submarines to justify the hefty “consultancy fee”? Did he declare this income to the Inland Revenue Board?

Kawak: Razak Baginda, there is no point in denying, but back up your statements with evidence on the following:

1) The extent of your services rendered to justify the payment of 30 million euro.

2) The money trail of this amount after it was paid to you or your company.

3) Profit and loss account of this source of income as submitted to the Inland Revenue Board.

FairMind: Indeed, why do we need an intermediary company which knows next to nothing on submarines as “consultant” in the purchase procurement?

Are you more expert in this matter than the people in the Defence Ministry? It is no wonder why Malaysia bought itself a submarine which apparently cannot dive.

Hang Babeuf: Najib’s erstwhile good friend ‘Mr Altantuya’ is now back in the limelight.

Breaks his silence — why? Under subpoena, it seems.

But is it the truth, the whole truth and nothing but…? Or a convenient front, a defensive line to be held at all costs?

Behsaikong: Innocent, Razak Baginda? Then here is your golden chance to clear yourself.

I am sure a French court will give you all due opportunity to hear your side of the story and clear you of any charge as and when you can successfully argue your case in a court of law.

Here at home, there was no case and therefore you did not have the chance to demonstrate your innocence to the home crowd.

Saya Pun Nak Cari Makan: Malaysians have redefined many words. Corruption = donation. Now, bribery = service charges. Who can beat us?

Under our very talented PM, tens of millions were donated into his bank account and he was not even aware of it. Can anyone beat him?

Sahudi: Who in the whole wide world could command €30 million consultation fee on one single deal? Only Razak Baginda. And where did he come from? The Land of Endless Possibilities.

What was or is his expertise that enabled him to command such humongous fee that no other human could? Endless possibilities, I supposed.

Such warped logic can only happen in the Land of Endless Possibilities, just like another tall tale that a king in a faraway kingdom would out of a blue decide to donate RM2.6 billion to the prime minister of the Land of Endless Possibilities (now voted as Asia’s worst finance minister). How charming!

Anonymous_1426565266: Wow, RM137 million in consultancy fee. In term of academic qualification, you are not a trained technical professional (engineer, architect, quantity surveyor, etc), neither are you a lawyer with a professional licence.

So, we are just curious, which part of the Scorpene submarine was designed by you to entitled such a rewarding ‘consultancy’ fee?

Any consultancy agreement with explicit scopes of work clearly indicated? The rakyat need to know as such massive deal involved taxpayers’ money.

Pahatian: Because of only a few of these Malays, the ‘maruah’ of the entire Malay race is at stake. They are either highly corrupted or are great liars or worst, both.

Mamadias: Najib didn’t know RM42 million was deposited into his account.

Now Razak Baginda claims that Najib was not aware of the billion-dollar deal when he was defence minister, while his unpaid advisor got RM137 million in consultancy fee.

It looks like Najib doesn’t know much about the things going on around him.
