Getting hot and bothered over naked women

Tholu: Kinabatangan MP Bung Moktar Radin, your heart is bereft of the finer basic human trait of being able to see the inner and sublime beauty of a person, either of a man or a woman.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. But with men like you, all you can conjure up in your mind at seeing a woman is unbridled perverted lust and desire.

Bung, have you stood ‘telanjang’ (naked) in front of a mirror and realised that no women would want you and that the only miserable way you can only attract a woman is with your wealth and power, just as you may have attracted your second wife Zizie Ezette?

Gaji Buta: I can understand if people in the coffee shop or even the opposition make such a statement, but as members of the ruling government, isn’t the ball in their court to decide if this practice is to be allowed or not?

It is as if the country was attacked by invaders, our armed forces look at one another and say ‘This is unacceptable, someone should do something’, and then continue to watch TV.

It also reminds me of the time when PM Najib Razak joined PAS in a public protest against Myanmar, when as PM he should be calling up Myanmar’s leaders and discussing the situation.

Anonymous 2469701494820788: Is naked women and sex always on Bung’s mind? He doesn’t belong in Parliament.

Clever Voter: Bung is entitled to his views as an individual but as a parliamentarian, he fell very short of the standards expected from such a public office.

One would have thought he had learnt to show more empathy on such issues but he is obviously not fit to represent the public interest.

But he is not alone, many such crude characters are unfit to represent a more rounded but diverse view of the world, including on gender matters.

Slumdog: Just the other day Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Ahmad Shabery Cheek called for, of all things, more research to be conducted into the aphrodisiac qualities of the durian.

Today, not to be outdone, we hear from Bung from Sabah who said a “beautiful woman” would still look attractive even if she wears a headscarf. He then suggested that no one would want an ugly woman even if she is naked.

My fellow Malaysians, unfortunately this is the standard and intellect of our elected Umno representatives who without shame and an ounce of intelligence make these types of frivolous and mindless comments in our august house of Parliament.

Anonymous 2460391489930458: Who’s living in the Stone Age? Those people who are trying to get their staff to observe an internationally recognised dress code? I don’t think so.

I have nothing against headscarf. Personally, I don’t think women should be forced to remove their headscarf. But likewise, I don’t think the headscarf should be forced on them either.

Let it be a personal choice for the women rather than force them to dress in a certain manner. They are human, not robots that you can programme.

As long they are able to carry out their duties with excellence, headscarf or no headscarf, why do we care?

Spirit of Malaya: The dress code should be left to the discretion of the management as long as it doesn’t infringe on one’s modesty. I’m sure the dress she was wearing as a front-desk staff was designed modestly in line with the said hotels’ corporate culture.

Whatever difference of opinion should have been discussed between them without blowing up the matter, and politicians are making the matter worse. What if our nicely-dressed air stewardesses suddenly decided to wear a tudung one fine day – does the management have a right to say no?

If I decide to disregard my office dress code which requires wearing a tie and a long-sleeve shirt and wear a short-sleeve shirt instead, is it okay?

Hplooi: Kinabatangan constituency has 19,500 registered voters in 2008 and 24,700 registered voters in 2013.

Meanwhile, Bandar Kuching has 53,000 registered voters, Petaling Jaya Utara, 83,000, Petaling Jaya Selatan, 80,000, Kelana Jaya, 101,000, and Kapar, 141,000 registered voters (2013).

So it is certain that a ‘free-loader’ like Bung will be re-elected in the next election. It should also be noted that MPs with very low IQs are from constituencies with very low registered voters.

Anonymous 444981488553970: Sex, sex, sex… I suggest we create a new government ministry called Ministry of Men’s Sexual Wellbeing.

Put all these sex-obsessed politicians to head this ministry. I am sure they would put all their passion to maximum use. Oh, only thing, no women allowed in this ministry lest some untoward and unplanned incident might happen.

Headhunter: I think Bung’s has X-ray eyes, or is it X-rated eyes?

African leader pokes fun at M’sia, humiliated Kit Siang wants BN out

Anonymous 242641505703475: It looks like both ministers, one from Malaysia and another from Africa, are comparing who is smarter in stealing money from their respective nations. So, both nations are butts of jokes in international conferences.

In today’s newspapers, there are two major stories. One is about Zimbabwe, where Robert Mugabe is under military custody; while in another, Indonesian speaker Setya Novanto has gone missing and anti-corruption officers are looking for him.

The former is 93 years old and probably feels that he should pass the baton to his wife, Grace, and perpetuate his hold on power. But what man proposes, god disposes!

Abasir: This is Umno’s greatest achievement. It did not come easy. Many in Umno worked hard for it… corrupting anything and everything they touch.

Ten percent of everything used to be the norm several years ago. Now it is much more. Especially when it is known that billions in “donations” will not be questioned even as Mr Integrity Pledge enjoys his illicit R&R (rest and recuperation) in Bali.

Headhunter: Now, even third world countries are laughing at us. Just how much lower are we going to go?
