YOURSAY | ‘And it will make Khazanah Nasional richer than Singapore’s Temasek Holdings.’

Yoursay: To reduce debt, Harapan simply needs to get back ‘stolen’ funds

Dr M, Harapan have poor track record of debt reduction

ChangeforGood: Even if Pakatan Harapan has a supposedly a poor track record of debt reduction, as claimed by BN strategic communication department deputy director Eric See-To, it is very much better than Umno and BN, under which our nation’s debt has increased tremendously and is out of control. Soon, our Bolehland would go into bankruptcy.

Vgeorgemy: All Harapan needs to do is just seize the funds Jho Low allegedly laundered in the US, as well as the assets others had illegally acquired from our country, and that would give this nation abundant enough funds to repay the government debt in full, and make Khazanah Nasional Bhd much richer than Singapore’s Temasek Holdings.

Malaysia4All: See-To, debt reduction is very easy. Simply stop corrupt practices and the new government would save billions already. In addition, foreign direct investment would return to boost job creation and the Malaysian economy.

A new Harapan government would also encourage the successful Malaysian diaspora living overseas to return to help Malaysia achieve first world status and herald a new era of prosperity.

Continue to vote for BN and Malaysia will fail; vote BN out and all these will happen. The choice is yours, my friend.

Cogito Ergo Sum: But you and your BN cohorts have the all-time record of ballooning the national debt. So much so that you had to turn to the rakyat to help bail you out by imposing the Goods & Services Tax (GST).

Never had this ever happened in Malaysia’s previous administrations. You created the debt, and then you reduce it by burdening the people, and now you claim that you did it by yourselves.

People are no longer ignorant. You ought to be sacked for giving out this statement and painting your own administration in poor light.

Amateur: See-To, how daring you are by claiming Prime Minister Najib Razak saved Malaysia in 2009. Everyone knows, except you, in 2009 Najib disbanded TIA (Terengganu Investment Authority) to form 1MDB.

Aren’t you aware of the disastrous results of 1MDB? Shame on you for being so ignorant as the BN deputy strategic communication director.

Anonymous 278451459939581: How to reduce debt? Easy – recover all the money stolen from 1MDB, Felda, Tabung Haji, Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and others. It does not need the super brains of MCA.

Not Smart: See-To, if you were to address a stadium full of kindergarten children, you would never be able to convince them on your logic and justifications on this and all the previous matters that you have raised as the BN strategic communication department deputy director.

Not that they do not understand the subject matter or are stupid, but because you do not have the grey matter and neither are you are smart as they.

Anonymous 2460391489930458: And all this talk is coming from a spokesman for a government that has vast experience in massive debt accumulation.

Name who is corrupt in tunnel project, or keep quiet, CM tells Wee

Vote BN Out: “If you have the courage, state who is the corrupt leader. If you don’t have proof, I think you should stay silent,” said Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng.

As they say, let sleeping dogs lie. Or in this case, let barking dogs bark. Lose no sleep over it. The barking dog is the one who will feel slighted and frustrated, and bark even more, to the annoyance of its owner, even.

Amateur: MCA deputy president Wee Ka Siong seems enthusiastic in trying to run down Lim, who appears to be the biggest pain in the ass for MO1 (Malaysian Official 1). Why didn’t Wee question the RM55 billion ECRL project which was awarded without any open tender?

The RM6.2 billion Penang tunnel project went through international standards of an open tender. God is so merciful to give Wee a second chance after a long period of illness.

But instead of repenting and being grateful, he is still siding with a kleptocratic government. It’s a matter of time judgement day shall fall.

Caripasal: Wee will not be able to take up Lim’s challenge to name the corrupt leader. Of course, he will again try to divert attention by asking another confusing question.

In the case of 1MDB, the opposition has clearly accused the prime minister of abusing his power over the transfer of billions of ringgit from 1MDB. The PM’s name has been repeatedly mentioned and he has been challenged numerous times to sue the opposition leaders.

However as expected, there is no action so far from the PM. We hope Wee will name the corrupt leader in Penang government, and see if he will be sued or not.

Ib: If Wee is interested in the truth, he should debate Umno leaders on 1MDB. He could also go to Indonesia and ask why their magazine Tempo has said businessman Jho Low’s alleged yacht Equanimity was bought with illegal money and calls our leaders corrupt.

But he won’t, as he has no courage at all.

Kneazle: Harapan dares to call Prime Minister Najib Razak a thief, but Wee doesn’t dare to say who he claims is the corrupt one in this tunnel case.

Dingy: The people want to change the government so that action could be taken against all who had allegedly received allegedly stolen money from 1MDB.

Najib’s AmBank account records should reveal all receivers of the “donation” and the amount. All the money should be returned to the people.

When DAP parliamentary leader Lim Kit Siang exposed claims that MCA president Liow Tiong Lai was among the recipients of Najib’s money, the party chief should have sued Kit Siang if it wasn’t true.

Did he distribute some of it to MCA leaders, which would include Wee? If so, that would possibly make Wee a corrupt leader too.
