Alleged MIC child sex offender must face the law

See a doctor, Saravanan tells MIC man accused of soliciting sex

Vijay47: A video clip of an MIC branch leader who was forced to resign for allegedly soliciting sex from a teenager is circulating on Facebook.

In the video, the leader is shown meeting with Deputy Youth and Sports Minister M Saravanan, who tells him he is sick and needs to see a doctor.

But instead of seeing a doctor, he should be seeing the police. Perhaps Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will generously invite him to visit the nearest police station, since that seems to be the standard procedure nowadays.

No more Swat teams armed to the teeth raiding suspects’ houses in the wee hours of the morning. What’s that, it still is? Oh right, only for members of the opposition.

The biggest joke of all is that the ones making the most noise about this issue are Saravanan and S Vell Paari!

Since Saravanan is dispensing free medical advice on mental health issues, maybe he can also make a suggestion as to the treatment of a hypothetical gangster and his mob who attacked the staff of a newspaper over unfavourable coverage?

Anonymous 459: What we should be asking is how Deputy Education Minister P Kamalanathan will respond to this. After all, hasn’t he been the high priest of defending kids in Tamil schools?

But the prevailing culture in the party seems to be ‘tidak apa’ (don’t care), so nothing will probably happen to the leader accused in this case.

Anonymous Hotplate: ‘Jangan cakap banyak’ (don’t talk too much), Saravanan. You’re not all that different.

Anonymous 59082512: Licking the boots of your political masters blindly in the hope of being fed breadcrumbs also seems to be a kind of sickness. He should get that checked out.

Mindful: See a doctor? What is wrong with you people? He has to face the law. Who are you to diagnose someone as being “sick”?

These people need to go to court, not to a hospital. Just imagine all those innocent young people being taken advantage of by this “leader.”

TA: If they knew about his “sickness,” the right thing to have done is to report him and make him take a leave of absence until he gets his issues sorted. Don’t let him roam around young children.

For God’s sake, he is a teacher. He should never have been allowed to teach.

Ib: Congratulations to MIC for achieving such a powerful position within the Indian Malaysian community that their leaders can even demand that mothers prostitute their daughters for jobs.

And this is clearly not a one-off case, as the accused says this has been going on for years, and that there is a long queue of girls waiting for him to offer them jobs.

Are these the jobs that BN promised as part of their “national transformation”?

Wake up please, my fellow Indian Malaysian citizens. Seize power from the politicians and return it to the rakyat.

Don’t meddle in ‘sex for favours’ case, Vell Paari tells MIC leaders

Falcon: Aside from Saravanan, MIC treasurer-general S Vell Paari also weighed in on the issue of the former branch leader accused of soliciting sex from teenagers in return for favours and employment.

Vell Paari called on the leaders and members of his party not to meddle in the case. This is a very bold and welcome step by Vell Paari.

All Malaysians should help you and the police do the right thing and bring the perpetrator to justice – not distort the facts and launch personal attacks against MIC leaders.

This is a sad and horrifying case if found true. We are looking at an alleged serial rapist who should be arrested immediately, charged and taken to task for his actions.

Worried Sick: I am truly amazed – imagine, Vell Paari all hot and bothered over an MIC branch leader who allegedly has had sexual encounters with young women promising them jobs in return.

Of all people, it is a bit ironic that Vell Paari is asking everyone not to meddle in this case, and then telling the police to throw the book at the disgraced MIC leader. Paari must think of himself as a paragon of virtue.

Anak JB: The accused was caught and beaten and yet can still remain a branch chairperson. This shows the calibre of candidates in MIC.

Ib: Is MIC part of the prime minister’s success story with the Indians? We have a unique culture emerging – crimes are only crimes when you are not in power.

Abasir: Timely call by Vell Paari in publicly urging party leaders and members to not meddle in the case… because he knows what the rest of them are like.

MIC man to mum: ‘I’ll get a job for your daughter if she sleeps with me’

Vijay47: Offering jobs to innocent young girls in exchange for sex is already revolting enough but what I find even more shocking is that he could actually make the offer to the girl’s mother.

Did he think that he held a position so powerful that nothing could happen to him? Or has he done this so many times before that he has become hardened and brazen about what he was doing?

Ironically, I think the police will take action against a lesser politician like him but only to crow to the world that they act against everyone who has committed an offence.

And we all know how true that is as we wait for action to be taken after all this while against a certain deputy minister who led a mob to beat up a newspaper editor.

Anonymous 38154145698562: We believe politicians are working for the people. But it looks like they are working for themselves.

First, they took their rights, then their money and now they want their flesh. Soon, they will sell their mother (Malaysia) too to satisfy their uncontrollable lust and desire.

Never again can it be said that the MIC never provided opportunities for the community.
