YOURSAY | ‘Never in the history of our nation has its people encountered a PM like Najib.’

In Umnoland, ‘DAP’ is politically correct euphemism for ‘Chinese’

Najib spooks Umno with ‘anti-Malay, anti-Islam’ DAP

yrsayumnolandyour say1Trueglitter: It is not unexpected that the deadening fears of Umno-BN’s impending defeat in the imminent GE14 has riddled PM Najib Abdul Razak with nightmarish jitters and concerns over his own political survival, resulting in his unprecedented whipping up unhealthy emotions and sentiments to spook the Umno general assembly by targeting the DAP as its ‘bogeyman’.

It is evident the cumulative exposes and escalating condemnations of Najib’s alleged scandals by the international community over the 1MDB debacle and being the true identity of Malaysian Official 1 (MO1) has inflicted irreparable damage on his self-esteem and reputation.

Never in the history of our nation has its people encountered a PM like Najib, who is fiercely galvanised by the political machinery of Umno-led BN government to allegedly plunder the nation’s limited resources and demean the rights of the people.

Small wonder that Najib is digging in deeply to champion Umno’s cause at the expense of making DAP its ‘whipping boy’ to delay his own political demise in the impending GE14.

RCZ: Same old, same old. No new ideas or hope to give to Malays but to scare and frighten them. Is this even working anymore?

And by the way, the despicable plight of the Malays and them being made absolutely stupid and dumbed down, cannot be attributed to anyone else but Umno as Umno has been ruling them for 60 years.

LooneyTune Film: DAP is the politically correct euphemism for Chinese.

Enforced deference to Beijing prevents the direct reference that DAP represents not Chinese, but Malays and others who oppose this alleged illegitimate kleptocracy.

Anonymous 2410591459862040: This is it. Year in, year out. Same story. Condemn DAP and condemn the Chinese.

Don’t forget you depend on China’s investment to survive. Who wants to pump money into a country which chooses to place blame on their brethren?

Fair Play: And here is the man who, according to published reports, did this – in the wee hours before dawn he had to get up and make a call to US President-elect Donald Trump.

And earlier he went to Beijing, hat in one hand and a bowl on the other hand, seeking investment ventures (or whatever the smart rakyat know).

Now he declares that DAP (read Chinese) is the enemy of Malays and Islam. Is he really that naive to think that PRC Chinese are that stupid not to know what game he is up to?

Rupert16: So, what’s new? Just as there must be a song and dance show in Bollywood movies, the Umno annual general assembly must have a bogeyman, be it Chinese, Christians, Jews, CIA, Singapore, Zionists, communists, Hindus, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people, liberals, DAP, etc.

Anonymous Hotplate: So, this year the agenda for the Umno AGM is condemning DAP, provoke the Malays to hate non-Malays and putting fear in Malays.

And thanks for the propaganda about Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his new party. More people will know Mahathir still exists and is doing good.

Ferdtan: Najib is using Trump’s populist tactics of galvanising racist and religious bigotry to win elections by attacking ‘DAP-Chinese’. The ultra-conservative rhetoric may work for Trump, we hope it will not work for multi-racial Malaysia.

Pakatan Harapan must come up with plans to counter this dangerous strategy which Umno is definitely going to use with full support of the government-controlled mainstream media.

Umno believes it can win Putrajaya with only Malay votes, with a little help from Sabah and Sarawak. Pakatan needs Mahathir and others in Bersatu to neutralise such racist claims from Umno.

The Malays in PKR and Amanah are not strong enough to defend themselves from such racist attacks or dare to because they may be branded as traitors to their race. When PAS was in Pakatan, it had played the role of defending ‘DAP-Chinese’.

6th Generation Immigrant: Sooner or later, when the riches disappear from the country, the Malays will surely awake from their Umno-induced slumber and assured platforms to posture from.

It is empty vessel noising today, but all will soon realise that they were actually taught a pittance, given and provided a pittance and protected with a pittance.

Surely if we are a nation that all agreed to ‘Kepercayaan kepada Tuhan’, our Tuhan is not going to let that ‘dark side’ of the nation destroys all those who pray in the light sincerely for the well-being of Malaysia.

One can guess, things shall get worse before our Tuhan intervenes – this surely cannot be an empty threat, otherwise we have been a nation of liars subscribing and believing in the Rukunegara.

Anonymous 2401191456463140: Najib, if you think the people, especially the Chinese, are angry hearing your speech, you are wrong. We are angry no more.

We are all the more sad for your party and the people you claim to protect for going so low in your speech. We cry for the once great Umno for the state it is right now, like a ‘sebuah pondok usang’ waiting to crumble down.

Who is to blame? DAP, Trump, Anwar Ibrahim? You figure it out.

Hopeful123: I urge our Malay brothers and sisters to give the opposition a try. See whether when the opposition comes to power, the Malays lose their power and dignity and if there is any threat to Islam.

If the opposition strays away from the objectives, you can always punish them in the next election. After all, the Malays form more than 60 percent of the country’s population. There is nothing to worry.

Look at India, the world’s largest democracy. The Indians got fed up of the long- and self-serving Congress Party and voted for the opposition. Now India is on its way to become an economic superpower. Make the change.

Wong Fei Hoong: This is a desperate man talking. The change of government will in fact be better for the Malays. At least, they will not be robbed of their dignity and pride and not be forever known as a handicapped race.

Jaycee: This is what we have for a PM. What happened to his 1Malaysia? This was supposed to have transformed the country and to go beyond race and religion.

Instead it has morphed into ‘Make Malaysia Islamic Again’ and ‘Make Malaysia Hate Again’. Is this the road he wants to take? And every member in the party agrees to this policy? We really need to rid the lot to remove the rot.

SusahKes: And here we were complaining about Trump. Isn’t that too much of a holier-than-thou posturing, my dear MO1?

You are implicitly part of a large-scale US Justice Department (DOJ) investigation on corrupt practices, your party tolerates money politics and Cowgate individuals, red-shirt leader Jamal Md Yunos, etc – and here you are, preaching to others.

I suppose that comes easy to a person who presides over a party that is bereft of soul.
